Merakixel (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates merakixel.com and the Merakixel admin platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.
Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (if provided), project type, and message. We use this to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver services.
Client and project data. If you become a client, we store additional information necessary to deliver the engagement — project details, communications, and billing information — in our internal systems, accessible only to Merakixel team members.
Cookies and similar technology. See our Cookie Policy for full detail. In short: we use a strictly necessary session cookie for the admin platform’s login, and — only with your consent — analytics and marketing cookies on the public site.
Google account data (admin platform only). Merakixel team members sign in to the admin platform via Google OAuth. We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. This applies only to authorized team members, not site visitors.
We do not sell personal data.
As a UK-based business, we apply UK GDPR to all our processing, and EU GDPR where it also applies (for example, if you’re located in the EU). We process personal data on the following bases: legitimate interest (responding to inquiries, operating the site securely), consent (analytics and marketing cookies — see Cookie Policy), and contract (delivering services once you’re a client).
We use third-party service providers to run our infrastructure, including hosting and deployment providers, and, where applicable, analytics or marketing platforms you’ve consented to. These providers process data on our behalf and aren’t permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
We’re based in the United Kingdom. If you’re located outside the UK — including the US, EU, or elsewhere — your data will be transferred to and processed in the UK.
We keep contact form submissions and client data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, deliver services, or comply with legal obligations.
Depending on where you’re located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
